Japan Centre Leicester square- Mochi Bar Assistant
We are looking for a Mochi bar General Assistant for Japan Centre Leicester square!
Job Purpose: As a Mochi Bar General Assistant, you will help your line managers with daily tasks in order to run the site smoothly.
Location: SW1Y 4EA
Pay: £10.75/ Hour
Working hours: Minimum 25 hour a week. Shifts are scheduled on a rota basis between the hours of 7:00am(Earliest start time)-10pm (Latest finish time); subject to change, weekday and weekends.
Job purpose:
- Prepare the mochi in the morning ready for sale
- Cook the tapioca pearls for the bubble tea
- Prepare customer orders
- To Serve customers through the till
- To serve food to our customers
- Refill our shelves with the relevant products
- To assist customer packing or carrying their shopping within our sites
- To advise our customers about our food products
- Complete company standard food safety checks
- Adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety standards
- Check & rotate date codes to ensure we provide our customers with quality products
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
- To be an ambassador for the Japan Centre Group Brand
- To assist customers while they are in our sites with any questions or queries they may have
- Complete stocktaking activities on a periodic basis
- This job requires you to stand throughout your working shifts
- Manual Handling - lifting, bending, stretching and carrying heavy items
Essential Skills:
- Able to work independently
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Fast learner
- Can work independently
- Confident talking with customers
- Good level of English communication
- Capable to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

- Speak/read/write Japanese
