Job Title: Purchase Ledger Assistant
Work Location: Unit B, Premier Park
Salary: £25,500 - £27,500 (depending on experience)
(pro rata for 4 days- £20,400 - £22,000)
Contract: 4 days a week, 6 months (with an opportunity to extend)
Reporting to: Finance Controller
Job Profile: As a Purchase Ledger Supervisor, your main duties are to process and maintain purchase ledger records and provide financial administrative support to the finance team, ensuring timely, quality financial information is provided and maintained in accordance with Trust procedures.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Post purchase invoices.
- Maintain the purchase ledger.
- Deal with supplier statements and queries.
- Other finance duties that commensurate with the post.
Required skills and experience:
- Strong Purchase Ledger skills, having already worked in a fast-paced Accounts Payable function previously and have a good understanding of end to end Purchase Ledger.
- Experienced working in a financial control environment and able to demonstrate understanding of accounting issues.
- Advanced Excel skills, Sage and Xero.
